Supposing you have the ability to go back in time and be 24 years old again, what advice would you give yourself?
We determined that
- Creating Good Habits
- Creating & Being Mindful of Goals
- Selfcare - The Beauty Legacy Way
...would be three great things to send back to our 24 year old selves, here’s why:
At 24, you are out there conquering the world, working hard, and getting ready to become part of the numbers of female CEOs (in the future). You might be out partying with your friends, going to school for your bachelor’s or Masters’ degree, or even getting ready for your wedding. You may also be sitting in your childhood home with no guesses of what the future may bring, stuck but only for a moment. With all of these possibilities of what your life may entail, the last thing you want is to take hours out of the day doing your makeup and worrying about pimples.
Yet, how can you make sure that you are healthy inside and out while you are conquering the world? You should set your mind into creating new healthy habits. When you are sitting on the couch, watching TV and eating way too many M&Ms, maybe try out some healthy popcorn or fruit slices. Instead of worrying about the next day, draw yourself a bubble-bath with your favorite music playing.
Creating Habits
Creating habits can be a long and arduous process, but here are some things that can help you have better days. The first step is to understand the habits that you already have. Once you can acknowledge your patterns, it is easier to make changes. Secondly, is to make a plan. There are always choices to be made, and that is the truth even with plans. For example, usually you have a can of soda once a day. Instead, you can plan to drink juice or water. Thirdly is to make sure that you track the new behaviors. If you see the advances in black and white, it is easier to keep up with the new changes. Thirdly, try to figure out what you want your future to look like. If you want to travel, then you may want to start a habit of saving a little money each month, or even learning the language of where you want to go.
Lastly, remember that creating a habit takes time. It will not happen overnight and there will be times that your plans will not go according to plan. You must be patient with yourself as you are trying to find inner peace no matter what your day looks like.
Creating Goals
You may think that habits and goals are synonymous, but that is not the case. While a habit is something that is repeated and is usually done subconsciously, a goal is something that a person wants to achieve with conscious focus. While you have goals at work (such as completing tasks before leaving for the day), or with your friends (dancing all night), you should have some goals for yourself. Always be aware that you cannot help others or be fully present with your friends if you do not care for yourself. Create goals that will relax your muscles. Some can be created to broaden your awareness of the world around you. Other goals can be setting aside time to use our Argan Oil to hydrate and soften your dry skin. No matter what your goals may be, they should always be for the betterment of your body and mind.
The Beauty Legacy Way

You don’t need to be 24 years old to get started!
It’s never too late to start. True, a tree planted 10 years ago would be bigger and stronger today than if you had planted it yesterday. The key here is to start sooner than later. Since we can’t go back, we must use present moments to make a better future. That is perhaps the best advice of all - GET STARTED today, for a better tomorrow.
