With the growth in popularity of TikTok hacks, beauty trends are emerging at a faster rate than ever before. From skin detox to glass skin, keeping pace with all these new techniques can be difficult. And that's without even mentioning the slew of new products that are flooding the market!
To make things easier for you, we've identified 5 beauty and skincare trends that we're likely to see everywhere in 2022.
1. The days of too much concealer are offically over!
If there is one thing that is certain about this year's beauty trends, it is that we are abandoning the flawless, zero-imperfections look in favor of a far more realistic appearance (at least in everyday life). The goal is for the skin to look radiant, with a matte-to-gloss finish. Expertly enhanced with a highlighter where the light hits, it still shows texture and small imperfections.
I don’t know about you, but this might be my favorite trend so far for this year!
2. Did someone say skin detox?
When we talk about a luminous complexion, we're talking about skincare first and foremost. The skin is more vulnerable to the aggressions we face on a daily basis. As a result, the new 2022 skincare trend is based on skin detox! We now have a much more targeted treatment than we did previously. This is what makes it so powerful. The technique begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin. This will make it easier for you to achieve a luminous complexion! How? By increasing the frequency of your exfoliation sessions.
Choose a gentle and hydrating exfoliator that will not damage or dry out your skin, such as our Coffee Scrub with Argan Oil, which is completely safe to use on a daily basis and is suitable for all skin types!
3. We’re going back to the ’90s!

We started seeing this trend years ago, thanks to the Kylie Jenner pre-Lip Kit days, but instead of more opaque rosy nude shades, we're entering an era filled with brown lip pencils and sheer glosses. This look naturally makes your lips look fuller and is easy to touch up on the go. Opt for a brown that's 2-3 shades darker than your natural lipstick, but get creative with the gloss. A little shimmer or a light touch of color can go a long way.
4. Nothing beats natural
In the last few years, we have finally seen the cosmetics industry make a greater effort to offer beauty products that are not tested on animals and in more eco-friendly containers. In 2022, we will now turn to the most natural ingredients possible.
Hemp seed, argan oil, avocado oil, cocoa beans, oats, fruits, nuts... we will see great popularity of ingredients naturally filled with antioxidants and nutrients beneficial for the skin.

5. Time to trim those eyebrows...
Made popular by just about everyone in the 90s, thin eyebrows are slowly coming back into fashion. Unfortunately for those of us who still love our thick, natural Cara Delevigne-like brows, the beauty community has decided that we've been neglecting our tweezers for far too long now. If you're planning on participating in the thin brow trend again, we recommend getting a professional to sculpt them for you (don't try it on your own, speaking from experience).
